Estancia Mall at Capitol Commons (located along Meralco Avenue in Pasig City) is widely considered one of Metro Manila’s premier lifestyle hubs. Unlike typical massive, chaotic malls, Estancia features a distinctly upscale, spacious, and relaxed atmosphere. It consists of the original Main Mall and the newer East and West Wings, which seamlessly integrate retail, gourmet dining, and entertainment.
This comprehensive guide covers everything you need to know for a perfect visit.
The Dining Scene (The Crown Jewel)
If there is one reason people flock to Estancia, it is the food. The mall splits its culinary layout between relaxed casual dining inside and a vibrant nightlife scene at the adjacent Gastro Strip.
1. Casual & Family Favorites
Manam: Famous for modern Filipino comfort food—do not miss their House Crispy Sisig or the Sinigang na Beef Short Rib & Watermelon.

2. Cafés & Hangout Spots
Kandle Café: A beautiful third-wave coffee shop offering great specialty brews, hearty local breakfast plates, and cakes.
Southbank Cafe + Lounge: Ideal for transitioning from an afternoon flat white to an evening craft cocktail.
JiPan Cafe & Bakeshop: A staple since the '90s for authentic Japanese pastries, artisan breads, and savory rice bowls.
3. Nightlife: 12 Monkeys & The Gastro Strip
Just outside the main entrance is Capitol Commons' Gastro Strip. Indoors, you'll also find 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub (North Wing), making Estancia a premier destination for live OPM (Original Pilipino Music) bands, drinks, and late-night pub grub.
Shopping & Essentials
Estancia targets a middle-to-upper premium market, trading massive department stores for curated lifestyle concepts.
- Global & Local Retail: Home to trusted brands like Adidas, Crocs, and HLA, alongside lifestyle behemoths like the multi-floor KKV store (Main Wing), which is packed with lifestyle items, makeup, accessories, and snacks.
- Grocery & Anchor Stores: The basement houses Unimart, a beloved, spacious supermarket known for its wide selection of local goods, fresh produce, and hard-to-find international imports. You’ll also find Ace Hardware and Anson’s nearby for home goods and appliances.
Entertainment & Wellness
Estancia Cinema: Located on the upper floors, it offers an intimate, premium movie-going experience with comfortable plush seating and top-tier audio-visual systems.
- Pampering Hub: The upper floors of the East Wing host exceptional wellness options, including The Color Bar (premium hair styling), Nailandia (nail spa and care), and Sanbry Men’s Grooming House.
- Fitness: Includes a fully equipped Anytime Fitness center for neighborhood residents and professionals.
Things to Do in Estancia Mall
While Estancia is smaller and calmer than mammoth complexes like SM Megamall, it is packed with premium lifestyle, entertainment, and culinary experiences. Because it is highly spacious and less congested, activities here feel much more relaxed.
Here are the best things to do during a visit:
Explore the Massive KKV Lifestyle Store
Estancia features a massive, multi-level KKV flagship branch located on the 2nd floor of the Main Wing. It is a visual candy store of curated lifestyle goods that you can easily lose an hour browsing.
- The Vibe: Bright, color-blocked, ultra-modern aisles designed for the social-media generation.
- What to look for: A huge wall of custom toy blocks, affordable Korean and Japanese skincare, an entire section for stationery/stickers, and hard-to-find international snacks.
Catch a Movie in Premium Comfort
The Ortigas Cinemas on the 4th floor of the mall offer one of the most comfortable movie-watching setups in the Ortigas area.
- The Experience: They feature plush, leather-covered reclining seats with ample legroom.
- The Screening Room: If you want to elevate the evening, book seats at the exclusive Screening Room (East Wing), which features deep, premium couches and dedicated coffee tables in the waiting lounge.
Unwind or Jog at Capitol Commons Park
Because Estancia is completely pet-friendly and attached to an expansive green estate, hanging outdoors is a big part of the local lifestyle.
- The Vibe: Relaxed and family-oriented, especially in the late afternoons when the heat dies down.
- Activities: You can jog along the paved perimeter pathways, set up a picnic blanket on the grass, walk your dogs, or grab an outdoor seat at Starbucks Reserve or Angkan Coffee to people-watch.
Parking & Accessibility
Parking: The mall features multiple spacious basement parking levels. Because the layout is wide, parking near the "East Wing" or "Main Mall" elevators based on your destination will save you a walk.
The Vibe: The mall is highly pet-friendly and connected directly to the open-space park of Capitol Commons, making it incredibly popular for weekend family strolls and dog walking.

It offers a quieter, high-end alternative to the denser commercial zones deeper inside Ortigas Center1. Via MRT-3 (Shaw Boulevard Station) — The Easiest Route
Estancia Mall is closest to the Shaw Boulevard Station.
- Step 1: Take the MRT-3 and alight at Shaw Boulevard Station. Exit on the Northbound side (towards Starmall / EDSA Central).
- Step 2: Walk towards the jeepney terminal near Starmall or along Shaw Boulevard.
- Step 3: Board a jeepney or UV Express heading towards Pasig Palengke, San Joaquin, or Binangonan/Rizal.
- Step 4: Tell the driver to drop you off at Capitol Commons or Meralco Avenue. Estancia Mall is right there on the left side of the road.
Alternative: You can easily grab a short Grab or taxi ride from Shaw Boulevard, which usually takes around 5–10 minutes depending on traffic.
2. From Bonifacio Global City (BGC)
Option A (UV Express): Walk to the Market! Market! Transportation Terminal. Look for a UV Express van bound for Pasig or Ortigas. Ask the driver if they will pass by or drop near Meralco Avenue/Capitol Commons.

Via MRT: Ride the MRT-3 Southbound from any station (e.g., North Avenue, Quezon Avenue, Cubao) and alight at Shaw Boulevard Station. Follow the jeepney steps above.
Via Ortigas Avenue (From Cubao/Rosario): If you are near Cubao or along Ortigas Avenue, catch a jeepney, bus, or G-Liner heading towards Quiapo or San Juan via Ortigas. From there, take a short jeepney ride south down Meralco Avenue, or hail a tricycle/cab directly to Capitol Commons.

Step 3: Walk into the Capitol Commons estate—Estancia Mall is a short 3-to-5-minute walk from the main road entrance.
Mall Hours
Generally open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily (though exterior restaurants and pubs on the Gastro Strip operate much later).
Metro Manila Subway
The ongoing construction of the Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP) will completely transform transit access to Estancia.
- Shaw Boulevard Station: This underground subway station is being built directly along Meralco Avenue, right in front of Estancia Mall. It's one of the only two stations to be built in Pasig City.
- Direct Connectivity: The station is designed to serve the Capitol Commons commercial hub directly, meaning commuters can step off the subway train and immediately access the mall premises.
- Massive Transit Upgrade: Once the subway becomes operational (targeted for full operations by 2032), it will connect Pasig to major hubs from Valenzuela all the way to BGC, Taguig, and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3. This will cut travel times across the metro down to just 35–45 minutes, turning Estancia into a major transit-oriented lifestyle hub.
